Christmas Comet, Indiana, 2024.  — just in time for the holiday season, a comet first observed more than 70 years ago has returned for one of its periodic visits — and this flyby of the christmas. Folks here in indiana and kentucky will be able to see seven different comets that will be visible in the night sky throughout 2024.

The path of totality will include terre haute and indiana state university at approximately 3:04:18 pm edt.  — the night sky will come alive this weekend when a green comet streaks by earth on the heels of the geminid meteor shower’s display of green fireballs.
